The short version

✓I collect only what I need to do my job: your name, email, phone, and booking details.
✓I don't sell your data. I don't share it with advertisers. I don't run affiliate funnels with it.
✓Payments are handled by Stripe. I never see your card number.
✓You can ask for a copy of what I have, ask me to delete it, or opt out anytime. Email [email protected].

Who I am

Tied & Untied is a DBA of DeNovo Legal Services, LLC, a Florida limited liability company. This policy covers tieduntied.com and any services booked through it.

What I collect

Depending on what you book, I collect some or all of:

✓Contact info: your full name, email, phone number.
✓Booking details: ceremony date, venue, service package, add-ons.
✓Divorce case info: for document prep and concierge clients, this may include your spouse's name, addresses, dates of marriage, children's info, and financial details you choose to share with me. I only collect what's needed for the forms you ask me to prepare.
✓Payment info: handled entirely by Stripe. I see the amount paid and the last 4 digits of your card, not your full card number.
✓Analytics: pages you view on the site, device type, rough location (country / state). Via Google Analytics 4, IP-anonymized.

I do not collect sensitive categories (health, biometrics, genetic data, sexual orientation, political affiliation) unless you voluntarily share them with me in the course of your booking.

How I use it

✓To deliver the service you booked (officiate your wedding, prepare your documents, coordinate your divorce).
✓To send transactional emails: booking confirmations, reminders, follow-ups, and things you need to sign.
✓To comply with Florida law and the IRS (recordkeeping for tax, business, and legal purposes).
✓To improve the site (fix bugs, understand which pages are confusing).

Who I share it with

I use a handful of reputable service providers (“processors”) to run the business. They only get what they need:

✓Stripe: payments. Their privacy policy.
✓Google Cloud / Firebase: my site hosting and database storage. Google's privacy policy.
✓Google Calendar: booking appointments. Only the event details (your name, ceremony info) get stored there.
✓Resend: for sending you emails. Their privacy policy.
✓Cloudflare: DNS, email routing, security. Their privacy policy.
✓Google Analytics 4: site analytics with IP anonymization. Google's privacy policy.

Beyond those processors, I do not share, sell, rent, or trade your data to anyone, for any reason. I do not run an affiliate program with your info, I do not sell leads, I do not share data with ad networks.

I may disclose information if legally compelled (subpoena, court order, valid law enforcement request), or if I believe disclosure is necessary to prevent fraud or protect someone's safety. I'll push back on overbroad requests where I can.

How long I keep it

Booking records are kept for seven (7) years, in line with Florida business record retention and IRS guidance. After that, I delete them unless an active legal hold applies.

Analytics data is aggregated and retained per Google Analytics defaults.

Your rights (California residents)

If you live in California, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to:

✓Know what personal information I collect about you.
✓Request a copy of it.
✓Request correction or deletion.
✓Opt out of any sale or share of your info (I don't do either, but the right exists).
✓Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

Your rights (EU / UK residents)

If GDPR or UK GDPR applies to you, you have the right to:

✓Access your personal data.
✓Request correction, deletion, or restriction of processing.
✓Port your data to another provider.
✓Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
✓Withdraw consent at any time for consent-based processing.
✓Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

My legal basis for processing is either (a) performance of a contract with you, (b) compliance with a legal obligation, or (c) my legitimate interests in running the business and keeping the site secure. Email [email protected] for any request. I'll respond within 30 days.

Cookies & tracking

The site uses a small number of cookies, all first-party and essential for functionality (keeping you logged into your booking session, remembering your cart). I do not use advertising cookies.

Google Analytics 4 loads on the site with IP anonymization enabled and no Google Signals. You can block analytics entirely via a browser extension like uBlock Origin or by enabling “Do Not Track” in your browser — I honor it.

I do not use Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, or any other ad network trackers.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided information through the site, email [email protected] and I'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If I update this policy in a material way, I'll post the new version here with a new “last updated” date, and (for active clients) send you a heads-up email. Small fixes (typos, clarifications) get quietly updated.
